JOB PURPOSE
Providing support to finance on Inventory and Fixed Assets Management
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Reconciliation of inventory cost of sales / movement – Movement of units/ Value
Aging of inventory – slow moving stocks and analyse stock provisions.
Stock take facilitation and variance reporting.
GIT reconciliation including transfers to branches/ warehouses / suspense accounts
Inventory GL to Submodule Reconciliation
Preparation of Monthly fixed asset movement schedules
Reports on Capex / PPE movements
Capex Management – Additions /disposals
Fixed Asset count / verification as per plan including Coolers
Asset register maintenance
Fixed Asset GL to Submodule reconciliation
MININIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
Professional accounting qualification e.g. CPA, ACCA, CFA
Practical experience in use of MS packages
Experience in Finance function in a FMCG environment.
Knowledge in ERP, added advantage
