JOB PURPOSE:
To support the creation, development, and implementation of multimedia content across various platforms. This role involves working with different media types such as video, audio, graphics, and animations to enhance the communication and marketing efforts of the Institution.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project planning, location coordination, room and equipment reservations, equipment setup, lighting, sound recording, shooting, editing, then placing finished products on appropriate channels.
Produce a range of custom video content, including but not limited to interviews, highlights, and mini documentaries.
Develop graphics in After Effects to support brand graphic packages and create original motion graphics for promo and campaign production.
Work with the communications team, to develop and implement a range of communications and outreach efforts.
Handle pre-production, production, and post-production for a variety of multimedia projects: photography, video, and audio in all the programmes and events of SBS.
Facilitate production and dissemination of video content.
Create and manage a database of all photos and videos
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The post holder will be required to have and to demonstrate evidence of the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:
A minimum bachelor’s degree in video production or a communication related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a communications role directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Experience in graphics, web design, and content production are an added advantage.
Key Skills and Competencies
Experience and knowledge in formatting and editing videos and photos.
Experience and knowledge in camera operations especially DSLR.
Demonstrates good knowledge of information technology and applies it to work assignments.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Excellent organization skills
