HR Manager

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing HR strategies and policies that support the company’s overall objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to collaborate with senior management, and a deep understanding of HR functions in both the EPC and Real Estate industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:

Develop HR strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
Implement comprehensive HR plans to meet business needs and foster an employee-oriented company culture.
Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in Eastern Africa.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
Develop effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the organization.
Implement performance management systems to drive high performance and employee development.

Employee Relations:

Act as a liaison between employees and management to address employee relations issues and resolve conflicts.
Promote positive employee relations through effective communication and HR initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits:

Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Monitor and analyze compensation trends in the local market to ensure the company’s salary structure remains competitive.

Training and Development:

Identify training needs and develop training programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Implement career development initiatives to support employee growth and retention.

HR Administration and Compliance:

Maintain accurate HR records and ensure all HR processes comply with legal requirements.
Manage payroll processing and benefits administration effectively.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

Track key HR metrics such as turnover rates, recruitment metrics, and employee satisfaction levels.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on HR metrics and initiatives for management review.’

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. 
Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in the EPC and Real Estate industries in Eastern Africa.
In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Solid understanding of HR metrics and the ability to analyze data to drive decision-making.
