External Evaluator

Somo seeks an experienced External Evaluator to assess our impact on job creation and income growth. The evaluator will conduct a comprehensive analysis of our programs, focusing on cost-effectiveness, including the cost per job created and income generated over 2-5 years for every dollar invested.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement a framework to measure job creation, revenue, and income growth. Localize to each locality where Somo works.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative assessments of program effectiveness
Evaluate financial resources relative to impact.
Analyze cost per job created and income generated over 2-5 years per dollar invested.
Analyze employee income and revenue ROI, every $1 donated, and what this means for revenue growth and extra income for entrepreneurs and employees.
Identify potential cost savings without compromising quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Requirements

Advanced degree in Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
Proven impact evaluation and cost-effectiveness analysis experience, especially in job creation and income growth programs
Previous work with non-profit organizations or government agencies
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to leadership and stakeholders.
