Our client in the beauty industry is seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Nail Technician/Head Spa Intern to join our team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in nail care and head spa treatments, offering a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in a high-quality spa environment. The intern will assist with various spa services, customer service, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Nail Care Services:
Assist in providing manicures, pedicures, and other nail treatments.
Learn and practice techniques for nail shaping, cuticle care, and application of nail polish, gel, and acrylics.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all nail tools and workstations.
Head Spa Treatments:
Assist in performing head spa treatments, including scalp massages, hair treatments, and other related services.
Learn the use of various head spa tools and products.
Ensure a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for clients.
Customer Service:
Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the spa’s booking system.
Respond to client inquiries and provide information about spa services.
Sanitation and Cleanliness:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the spa area.
Ensure all equipment and tools are sanitized and stored properly.
Follow spa protocols for health and safety.
Learning and Development:
Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in nail care and head spa treatments.
Seek feedback from senior staff and incorporate it into practice.
Qualifications:
Recent graduate from a cosmetology or esthetics program.
Prior nailtech experience is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of nail care and interest in head spa treatments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Skills and Abilities:
Manual dexterity and precision in performing nail and head spa treatments.
Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
