About the Job
As an Account Executive, you follow up with prospects who reach out to us on various channels, explain the unique value we offer, bill and schedule them for the services, and ensure they have a great experience until they are transitioned to the Customer Success Manager and Coaches. We are also looking to build operational excellence and digitize processes to support our growth while maintaining a collaborative and performance-led culture.
There are three specific challenges you will be helping us surmount before January 2025:
Present the offer, close and support candidates through the sales process. You will use a consultative process to meet your sales targets.
Documenting policies, processes and training manuals to govern our work with clients and the sales team processes together with the Managing Director, ERP Consultants and other team members.
Contribute to the development of digital customer experience and efficiency in our services. In particular, we need to ensure clients have clarity and clear expectations across their experience with us. For example, we envision short video guides to help them navigate each step of the service, push notifications for delivery of personalized documents or job matches, client portals to manage our documentation, etc. You will support us in implementing these different solutions as well as suggesting new solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities and Performance Expectations:
Carefully learn the consultative selling process and articulate the services offered and sales terms. You will also follow up with prospects and answer any questions they have and ensure customer contacts are updated in the CRM. You will also be responsible for timely daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and interpretation of sales metrics regularly. Sales metrics include revenue generated, conversion rates from one stage to the next, client satisfaction score and % of clients details correctly updated on the CRM.
You will also be expected to contribute to business development by collating reports on emergent customer issues and competitive intelligence. In addition, you will also be expected to contribute in innovation, process improvement and more. Metrics tracked here include the number and quality of process improvement initiatives, professional development undertaken in the period, and the number of qualified leads from business development activities you take part in.
Compensation
Gross Salary of 40,000 + Commissions on every sale made.
In terms of total gross pay, by the 2nd month of speaking with clients, all previous Account Executives had on-target earnings of above 100,000.
Requirements and skills
No industry experience is required.
Highly organized and analytical
Preferred experience in sales, especially service sales e.g consulting.
In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis software like MS Excel, SPSS or SAS
Familiarity with CRM programs and scheduling software e.g. Calendly and Zoho
Experience in a busy sales environment with experience supporting operations is a plus
Experience with consultative selling is a plus
Experience in digital marketing/event planning is a plus
BS/BA degree in a business-related field
