Role Description
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to protect our clients’ networks and data.
Your primary focus will be on firewalls, Network Access Control (NAC), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and overall network security, with a strong emphasis on Fortinet products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and manage firewalls, NAC, WAF, IPS, and other security systems.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect network infrastructure.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
Provide technical support and guidance on security best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, etc.).
Strong understanding of firewalls, NAC, WAF, IPS, and networking principles.
Experience with network security protocols and practices.
Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, CCNA, CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, CEH, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with other security technologies and vendors.
