Job Summary
Responsible for HR management for
IR in Kenya and Anglophone, including misconduct, nonperformance , and incapacity cases
Kenya and Anglophone Countries in SSA including payroll compilation for wider SSA countries
Data Analytics/ personnel cost management and budgeting
Areas Of Responsibility
Responsible for the HR management for Kenya and Anglophone Countries in SSA in the following areas:
Employee relations – Managing employees’ concerns, grievances and disciplinary issues, non- performance
Performance Management – Driving performance management in the region through effective implementation of online PMS and field force appraisal criteria. Ensuring quality of goals set by driving audit of goals.
Policies –Designing and streamlining new policies related to SSA region
Compensation Management– Ensuring timely closure of final ratings and partnering with business for salary revision in each Anglophone SSA country with optimum budget utilization and bonus pay-out as per guidelines. Finalizing and exception management of salary proposals for promotions and new joining cases
Attrition and data analytics – Monitoring key metrics for review with business heads
Learning & Development – Structured training needs assessment and driving behavioral training initiatives; Supporting leaders in assessing the development needs of their team members and finalizing their development action plans and in organizing relevant training programs;
Talent Management – Creating succession planning for N-3 positions, performance and potential mapping; Capability development in-line with the plan
Annual budgeting
Statutory compliance – Audit to be conducted to assess compliance levels in the country
Other country specific projects like Up-skilling of the HR team by focusing on IDP creation and implementation of common development needs
Payroll compilation for FWA and wider SSA region (scope to be defined)
Data Analytics
Collating all existing and future required reports / information with regard to One HR Data, HR Analytics, Attrition, Recruitment, any other information from all countries across EM to derive required insights / action points by ensuring all information in One HR is up to date
Drive in implementing surveys, questionnaires and other data collection initiatives across SSA Anglophone region and follow up for completion
Compile Training Needs assessment and maintenance and tracking of Training Calendar implementation
