Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
Oversee process of requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures
Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.
Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
Administer on-line purchasing systems
Supervise storeroom/stocks management function
Conducts market studies and surveys trends.
Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
Handle group procurement expansion and logistics’ coordination

Qualifications

Relevant bachelor’s degree.
8 years proven working experience as a Procurement Manager
Hospitality experience
MC experience preferable
Centralised sourcing practices and logistics coordination
Excellent Communication and leadership skills
