Roles And Responsibilities

Formulates and executes proposal strategy and sales agreements. Formulates transaction structure, pricing, proposal development. Assists in negotiations with clients. Identifies new opportunities with functional partners to develop new products and services for business growth. Uses Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve the proposal process. This is a hybrid role that should only be used when the ongoing tasks of the original sales and sales proposal activities are of roughly equal importance. Otherwise, use another separate work area.
Requires specialized knowledge of product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Requires strong business awareness and should influence the development of a strategy for its large sales territory, including resource control.
Interprets simple internal and external business issues and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform their work.
Uses a high level of judgment to make decisions, manage complex tasks or issues in projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has the ability to assess the quality of the information provided and knows how to ask relevant questions to stakeholders or clients. Is able to solve problems with innovative solutions that go beyond the established parameters, but also to develop recommendations. Uses internal and external resources outside of their own function to help them make a decision.
May lead functional teams or projects with reduced resource requirements, risks and/or complexity. Expresses difficult concepts and can influence colleagues’ opinions on particular topics. May cause others to look at an issue from a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant University Degree
Minimum 10 years working experience in a similar position with in the same industry
Grid Automation, Electricity Transmission and Distribution Field experiences are advantage
Strong Knowledge of Southern Africa Electricity Market
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in English & Portuguese are required
