SCOPE OF WORK
Objective
Provide an in-depth understanding of the acting industry, focusing on its structure, key players, and career opportunities.
Impart practical skills essential for acting across different mediums, including stage, television, and radio.
Inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in acting, fostering a passion for the performing arts.
Promote youth empowerment by integrating storytelling and video production, emphasizing the development of skills and entrepreneurship to uplift the livelihoods of refugee and host communities.
Target Groups
Local refugees and host community under the skills development grant in Kakuma (18-35 years).
Outcomes /outputs
Conduct workshops and training sessions on acting techniques for stage, TV, and radio.
Share personal experiences and insights about the acting industry.
Provide constructive feedback to students to help improve their acting skills.
Collaborate with the media trainer to ensure the training aligns with the overall curriculum.
Expected Outcomes
Facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on acting techniques for stage, television, and radio, ensuring a thorough and practical understanding of each medium.
Provide valuable personal experiences and professional insights into the acting industry, offering students a realistic perspective on career pathways and industry dynamics.
Offer constructive and personalized feedback to students, aimed at enhancing their acting skills and performance quality.
Collaborate closely with the media trainer to ensure that the training sessions are aligned with the overall curriculum and educational objectives, promoting a cohesive learning experience.
Consultant role:
Develop a workshop programme.
Training & mentorship of media mentees (capacity building).
Training sessions on acting techniques for Film, stage, TV, and radio.
Work closely with Media Trainers.
Demonstrated experience in working with emerging artists.
Proven experience in the acting industry.
Experience in teaching or conducting workshops on acting is desirable.

Outputs:
Prepare a script for stage, Film & Radio acting
Provide a comprehensive project report
