Role Description
We are seeking an Executive Chef for a 2-3 month assignment to Kenya. We will pay for travel and visa costs apart from the consulting fees as agreed for this period. The role will be to research and setup the menu, train the team, initiate the kitchen operations and processes. The chef must have atleast 15 years of experience working as a head chef in luxury hotels of India and abroad, and must have a good hold on continental cuisine. Knowledge of African cuisine is a plus.
Qualifications
Strong culinary skills, including menu planning and food preparation
Experience managing a kitchen and leading a team
Knowledge of international cuisines and expertise in creating diverse menus
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high food quality standards
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Creativity and ability to innovate in culinary offerings
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Food safety and sanitation certification
Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field
