The Position:
As a Patient Education Manager, you will:
Project manage all iCARE Patient Empowerment initiatives, including awareness, screening, patient education, and patient support programs.
Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders such as multinational companies, NGOs, Patient Associations, and the Ministry of Health.
Lead the digital innovation for patient education and empowerment in Middle Africa.
Responsible for tracking, monitoring, reporting, and compliance requirements for all Patient Empowerment initiatives
Team lead and coordinator for Diabetes Nurse Educators
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
University degree in biomedical sciences, public health, pharmacy, health economics, health administration/management, or medicine.
3+ years of experience in program/project management in population health interventions.
Previous experience leading non-communicable disease programs is a plus.
Experience leading patient empowerment/education programs in multinational pharma companies is great advantage.
Experience leading strategic partnerships to improve patient outcomes in donor agencies or NGOs is a plus.
Strong project management, business understanding, collaboration, and communication skills.
