Senior Financial & Planning Analyst

Job Objective

The senior financial analyst’s responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership. As a senior financial analyst, you will also be responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes.Identify business opportunities to generate more revenues and increase the company’s profitability, design an efficient financial database, and prepare organized financial and billing reports.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

se knowledge of GAAP accounting to validate models.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from various data sources.
Contribute to the leadership team monthly KPI reviews to help analyze results, metrics and facilitate any issues arising in the field.
Standardize KPI and performance metrics for quarterly portfolio executive reviews.
Perform extensive modeling for service internalization, make-vs-buy decisions, ROI and scenario analyses.
Design and implement a company-wide lead tracking database to increase accuracy of monthly revenue projections.
Present findings and analysis to executive level management and work collaboratively with management in decision making processes regarding the asset portfolio.
Consolidate financial information and participate in monthly closing ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial statement assertions.
Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
Understanding key business drivers.
Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
Developing financial projections and building financial models.
Performing research and analysis as required.
Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.

Requirements and qualification

Minimum 7 years of experience as an FP&A or in a similar role
Excellent accounting software user skills, such as SAP and Oracle;
Deep knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint);
Full professional proficiency in English;
Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills;
A degree or equivalent experience in Business/Finance/Accounting is welcome.
CPA, ACCA, CFA, FRM or similar qualifications will be an added advantage
