Office Cleaner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and attentive Cleaner for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across various surfaces, ensuring all areas are spotless and hygienic. Key tasks include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning windows. The ideal cleaner should complete tasks efficiently and work independently.
Key Responsibilities:

Floor Cleaning: Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of different types.
Surface Dusting: Dust ceilings, light fittings, counter tops, and furniture.
Sanitization: Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
Trash Management: Empty trash cans and maintain cleanliness in garbage areas.
Window Cleaning: Wash and dry windows.
Product Management: Ensure sufficient cleaning products are available, liaising with the line manager as needed.
Damage Reporting: Report any breakages or repairs needed to the line manager.
Inspection and Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities, and track and report issues.
Supply Room Management: Stock and maintain supply rooms.
Equipment Handling: Safely operate cleaning tools and equipment, and report potential issues.
Communication: Communicate effectively with co-workers and management, follow written and spoken instructions.

Requirements

Minimum qualification for KCSE
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic numeracy and literacy.
Great attention to detail and good organizational abilities.
Enthusiasm for skill development and adaptability to change.
Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high-quality work.
Positive and approachable manner, with team player qualities.
Experience in corporate office cleaning or related roles.
Character traits of diligence, honesty, and integrity.
Presentable grooming and appearance.
