Business Development Executive

Reporting to: Business Development Manager – Corporate
Job Summary
The job holder will be responsible for identifying opportunities, such as new markets and emerging needs, and developing strategies to grow the business from a robust corporate pipeline. Additionally, they will focus on increasing the value of current customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Acquisition and generation of new business in Group life, Credit life, annuities, and Deposit Administration schemes in accordance with the set targets
Conservation of all existing business through service delivery.
Servicing existing clients/ Intermediaries.
Training new and existing clients/Intermediaries on Corporate Life products.
Attending to customers concerns/complaints.
Preparation of quotations/Tender documents
Promoting Geminia Life brand within the corporate sector
Develop and maintain close working relationships with Intermediaries.
Building and maintaining strategic relationships in the corporate sector and
Supporting the Branches to on-board Life Corporate business & meet their EGL/Pension budgets.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
Professional qualifications
Insurance or Actuarial qualifications/ Continuing towards qualification.
TDP-K, IPM or other Pension qualification.
Have knowledge and relevant work experience of not less than 2 years
Strong business development focus with proven track record of business turn-around in Pension and Group life.
