Marketing Assistant (Digital) Data and Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Marketing Assistant (Digital) will work with the Marketing Manager to implement the Company’s strategies across multiple online and offline digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Standards:

Contribute to the development of strategies, initiatives, and budgets to deliver on the digital marketing objectives
Deliver on the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the internal teams and the online audience.
Champion the implementation of content strategies as per brand guidelines and applicable laws e. g the Data Protection Act

Reports and insights:

Provide insights and reports to guide the Company on selection of the most optimal and cost-effective social media strategies
Maintain the records, logs, reports, analyses for Geminia Life’s Digital platforms, audiences and customers.

Platforms management, content creation and deployment

Champion the desired Geminia Life brand voice and image both online and offline
Source for relevant and impactful content for Geminia Life’s digital channels to keep the community of fans and followers engaged and excited about the brand
Develop and implement a content calendar for the content to be posted on designated social media channels
Champion customer and user experience on Geminia Life’s digital channels
Manage responses on social media platforms as per approved turn-around-times
Nurture and convert leads from all company marketing channels
Offer email marketing support via the CRM portal – create all ad track links as needed for email analysis and leads
Execute ongoing and approved digital/online/social campaigns according to brand guidelines
Update content on the company website

Relationships & Support

Provide online and offline marketing support for corporate/staff initiatives and events
Partner with other departments to ensure proper digital/online/social media messaging and relevance
Manage relationship between Geminia Life Insurance and any assigned marketing partners
Support online customers as the first point of contact in liaison with the Operations Department
Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including processing supplier payments, coordinating meetings and setting up for company events and activation sites.

Skills & knowledge

Report writing skills
Copy-writing skills – must demonstrate the ability to write for varied audiences.
Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on grammar/ spelling excellence
Knowledge of digital reporting tools such as web analytics, CMS, social listening tools among others
Knowledge of digital/online/social media platforms, audience management and analytics
Good interpersonal skills
Good organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to effectively co-ordinate the efforts of stakeholders such as colleagues and suppliers
Strong team member and ability to promote a positive atmosphere throughout the organization.
Capable of working with minimum supervision, able to manage time and meet tight deadlines.

Education & Experience

Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Communications, or any other related field
2 years’ experience in social media strategy, content development, digital media buying and community management.
