Job Summary
As a GivePower Branch Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, meeting financial goals, such as sales targets, cash management and cost control and ensuring compliance with relevant national and county laws and regulations.
Duties and responsibilities
Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations of the branch and manage all aspects of the team to exceed set KPI’s.
Create a customer-focused environment which is appealing to GivePower’s diverse customer base.
Through exceptional operational management, consistently strive to exceed sales and financial targets of the branch.
Maximize the profitability of the branch by understanding and controlling all costs. Monitor on a regular basis to ensure alignment to targets.
Ensure that all cash handling and banking procedures are followed.
Proactively work with the maintenance team to ensure premises, facilities, machinery, motor vehicles and other equipment are well-maintained and run to their expected efficiency and output.
Ensure strict and timely compliance with all permits, licenses and standards mandatory for branch operation as well as SOP’s, policies and procedures.
Ensure proper security of company assets including plant, equipment, vehicles and cash.
Develop, grow, and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, key customers and government representatives to maximize our local relevance and positive brand equity.
Execute on other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a business, commercial or related field preferred with at least 5 years of relevant progressive work experience.
Experience in a retail environment preferably in quick service restaurant, supermarket or similar operations environment with accountability for sales, profit, operations and people.
Supervisory and/or Branch management experience will be an added advantage.
