Senior Environmental Project Manager H/F

Job Description

Within the Egis team in Africa, and under the responsibility of the Regional Service Line Director (RSLD) Environment Africa based in Casablanca, as a Senior Project Manager, you will carry out the following missions in the field of territory development and transport infrastructure (road, highway, rail, urban, energy, waste, water, industry, multimodal platform,…) and renewable energies (hydroelectricity, solar, wind, etc.).

Your missions:

Manage the production of expressions of interest and offers (coordination, methodology, costing, etc.) with the support of the Africa tender unit under the responsibility of the RSLD;
Manage multidisciplinary projects in the field of the environment and biodiversity (between a few dozen thousand € and 1M€): production team supervision, monitoring of subcontracting, monitoring of quality;
Manage and/or participate in the production of environmental studies at different stages of the project: strategic environmental study, feasibility study, regulatory files (EIES, EIS, NIE, etc.) or specific multidisciplinary studies, one-off expertise;
Participate in eco-design and ecological design within project management teams in the pre-project phase, Project, DCE, environmental monitoring of AMO environment works, sustainable development;
Manage contracts on an administrative and financial level: invoicing monitoring, profitability monitoring, management of amendments;
Manage customer relations and maintain regular communication with customers and local partners;
Manage interfaces with other Egis Service Lines in the case of multidisciplinary projects (generally managed by another Egis Service Line in Africa);
Ensure full application of Egis’ ESG and ethics policies when carrying out contracts;

The projects entrusted to you will be spread across the entire African continent, both French and English speaking.
Profile

Holder of a bac +5 training specialized in Environment and/or Ecology (Master 2, Agronomy engineer or equivalent),
You have an experience of at least 10 years, particularly as a project manager / experienced engineer in environment/ecology for territory development projects, and/ or transport infrastructure, and/or renewable energy.
You have a good command of environmental regulatory procedures for land development projects.
You have a very good command and demonstrated experience of the environmental and social standards of international financial institutions (World Bank, International Finance Corporation, African Development Bank, Millennium Challenge Corporation, etc.)
You are motivated to participate in the environmental and ecological design of projects.
Other qualities: writing skills and oral ease, a spirit of synthesis, rigor of analysis and presentation, taste for teamwork.
Mastery of French and English is an imperative.
You respect the imposed deadlines and guarantee the reliability of the studies, particularly in a multi-project context.
You are flexible and available to carry out short/medium term missions in Africa depending on the needs of the projects you manage.
