Responsibilities
Report to the duty station on time and inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in a roadworthy condition
Review the assigned orders in the system or as instructed by the supervisor
Load the vehicle with adequate fuel pellets, cookers, stands and any other necessary items needed by customers
Discuss the route plan and delivery priorities with the direct Supervisor
Identify opportunities or vulnerabilities in how we operate and escalate to management. Implement plans by management to mitigate operational risks
Participate in end-user-testing of applications and any other form of required training
Ensure the sales teams have the operational support they need to excel at their work
Collect & swap faulty cookers and update the serial numbers in the system
Troubleshoot and fix easy to resolve product issues when requested by customers
Update completed deliveries on the system
Escalate payment delays to the direct Supervisor
Escalate any quality issues on the vehicle that might need repair
Report and book for scheduled maintenance when mileage threshold has been exceeded
Ensure that the vehicle is clean and presentable at all times
Escalate when any compliance issues arise or when documents are about to expire
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Knowledge and Experience
A valid PSV driving license with category B, C and D
KCSE certificate
Operational and logistics experience
Last mile delivery experience with a focus on customer service
Ability to learn how to use basic mobile phone applications
Skills and Attributes
Strong ability to use initiative, prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
