Sales Manager- Plastics East Africa

Position Overview:

As the Sales Manager for Plastics in East Africa, you will be responsible for driving sales, conducting market studies, and reporting on market trends. You will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize growth and profitability in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
Conduct market studies to identify new opportunities and trends in the plastics industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and principals.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and materials.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Willingness to travel to Dubai & Saudi Arabia to meet principals and attend meetings as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in plastic raw material sales.
Experience with international plastics distributors is considered an added advantage.
Strong understanding of the plastics industry, market dynamics, and trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
