Clinical Officer

Brief Description
Apply medical knowledge and skills in the diagnosis, prevention and management of diseases at the medical center and provide occupational Health services across KQ campuses. Support all the various medical functions supported by KQ Health as per allocation by the supervisor.
Detailed Description

Clinical Care-Provide outpatient medical and surgical care
Passenger Health -Ensure passenger health is guided and maintained at all times and conduct escorts/ Give passenger clearances where applicable
Engage in all matters employee health
Clinical Governance – Practice data driven health practice
Health promotion -Maintain and Promote disease prevention and participate in employee wellness programs;
Driving excellence in client experience
Conduct pre-employment, occupational and exit medical examinations as applicable to company policy/DOHS
Implementation of the Hospital Strategy

Job Requirements

Diploma in clinical Medicine and Surgery; or Bachelor’s degree in clinical Medicine; 
Additional post diploma clinical qualification is a requirement
Demonstrable Experience in Emergency care; BLS, ACLS and /or aviation medicine practice
Registered by clinical officers’ council with a current practicing license.
Not less than five (5) years’ experience in a busy health facility with at least one in the private sector

Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to large audiences.
Available for frequent travel in the region and beyond.
