Role Overview.
As a Fleet Manager within our esteemed school department, you will assume a pivotal role in the effective management and coordination of our fleet operations. By collaborating closely with school administrators, drivers, and support staff, you will orchestrate the seamless and efficient operation of our transportation services. From meticulous scheduling and route optimization to meticulous vehicle maintenance and unwavering safety compliance, you will play an indispensable role in delivering high-quality transportation solutions to schools and their cherished students.
Key Responsibilities.
Strategic Operations Management: Take charge of the day-to-day operations of the MARAMOJA for schools fleet, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency at all times.
Collaborative Partnership: Forge strong and mutually beneficial relationships with school administrators, gaining deep insights into their transportation needs and requirements.
Route Optimization Expertise: Utilize your expertise to meticulously schedule and optimize routes, guaranteeing the seamless flow of transportation services while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
Vehicle Maintenance Mastery: Oversee all vehicle maintenance and repair activities with precision, ensuring the fleet’s readiness and unwavering compliance with stringent safety regulations.
Team Leadership and Support: Provide steadfast leadership and unwavering support to a dedicated team of drivers and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Performance Monitoring and Enhancement: Continuously monitor fleet performance and spearhead strategic initiatives to drive improvements, enhancing efficiency, reliability, and overall customer satisfaction.
Robust Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records and reports pertaining to fleet operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications.
A Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation management, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation, preferably within a school or education-related context.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, coupled with a passion for fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Proficiency in utilizing fleet management software and cutting-edge technology to drive operational excellence.
Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and an unwavering commitment to compliance standards.
