Intern, Engagement and Partnerships

Position Overview:
Pollen Patrollers is seeking a dynamic and motivated Partnerships and Engagement Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while gaining valuable experience in partnership development and community engagement within the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with relevant organizations, NGOs, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
Support the planning and execution of partnership initiatives, including workshops, training programs, and collaborative projects.
Engage with beekeepers, farmers, and local communities to gather feedback, assess needs, and foster strong relationships.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content for social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating partnership activities, tracking key metrics, and reporting on outcomes.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Business Administration, Agriculture, Environmental Science, International Development).
Passion for environmental sustainability, agriculture, and community development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in partnership development, community outreach, or related fields is a plus.

Duration:
This is a full-time internship position and the duration of the internship is negotiable, with a minimum duration of 3 months.
Location:
Kenyatta University, Thika Road.
