We are seeking a skilled professional to design, implement, and oversee learning and development programs tailored to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with leadership to identify training needs, develop engaging learning solutions, and evaluate program effectiveness. Responsibilities include creating instructional materials, delivering training sessions, and leveraging technology to support continuous learning initiatives. A strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and experience with learning management systems is required. Perform periodic training needs evaluations in partnership with department leaders to pinpoint skill deficiencies and establish key areas for professional growth.

Develop and organize educational materials, including workshops, e-learning modules, manuals, and supplementary resources, to facilitate effective learning experiences.

The GALT Program Management role entails overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of program initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations. This position requires strong leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and mitigate risks to achieve program milestones. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies, budget oversight, and performance tracking. Oversee the comprehensive end-to-end management of the Graduate Aquaculture Learning & Training (GALT) program from inception to completion.

Manage the recruitment and selection processes for GALT trainees.

Identifies skill gaps, designs tailored training programs, and implements coaching strategies to enhance individual and team capabilities. Monitors progress through performance metrics, feedback mechanisms, and regular assessments to ensure continuous improvement. Collaborates with leadership and HR to align development programs with strategic business objectives, fostering a culture of growth and high performance. Requires expertise in learning and development methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to measure impact on business outcomes.

Assist managers in pinpointing areas for performance enhancement and executing targeted learning initiatives to drive improvement.

Collaborate with the Head of HR to pinpoint employees with high potential and create tailored development programs.

Facilitate the implementation and ongoing management of succession planning initiatives and leadership development programs to ensure organizational continuity and talent readiness.

The role involves assessing and enhancing learning systems to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness. Responsibilities include evaluating existing systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements to support learning objectives. Additionally, the position requires analyzing data to measure system efficiency, user engagement, and overall impact on learning outcomes. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with learning management systems are essential for success in this role.

Collaborate in the deployment and ongoing upkeep of learning management systems to ensure optimal functionality and user support.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is required, and familiarity with data analysis or project management platforms is highly beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Education, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

Three or more years of demonstrated experience in Learning & Development or a closely related Human Resources capacity is required.

Exceptional abilities in guiding discussions, organizing tasks, and compiling comprehensive reports are required.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience overseeing structured training or graduate programs is a valuable asset.
