Senior Service Technician

About the position:
As a Senior Service Technician, you will be responsible for analyzing technical issues of our vehicles and bikes, understanding the root cause and developing solutions to avoid them in future. These solutions should consist of short-term fixes and long-term design changes to improve the durability and efficiency of our fleet. You will work on the one hand closely with our after-sales technicians to improve their troubleshooting skills. On the other hand, you will heavily interact with our engineering and product development department to identify our most critical problems.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Root cause analysis:

Perform root cause analysis for technical issues occurring in the field.
Develop issue code system to categorise issues and solutions.
Provide product development support by offering solutions to common issues within the fleet.

Battery assessments:

Perform physical and remote battery performance assessments.
Repair and refurbish motorbike batteries.

Refurbishment :

Develop refurbishment process for reusable components.
Refurbish items.

Qualifications

A minimum diploma in either automotive, electrical, mechanical engineering or any other related field.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in automotive or maintenance.
Experience in root cause analysis and ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
Experience with electric motorbikes and buses will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
