Job Description
Develop, implement/execute and monitor alternative distribution channels strategies to drive business growth and enhance the company’s distribution channels’ effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and implement new distribution channels opportunities.
Drive the Digital innovation agenda together with the Head Of Alternative Channels and Head of Digital, continuously identifying and developing solutions that deliver superior customer experience.
Grow the Travel Insurance channel sales by forming strategic partnership with stakeholders and embedment with other products for market distribution and penetration.
Drive the direct business channel by executing the strategy and implementing the new Staff incentive program and market activations.
Drive cross sell initiatives within the Business to achieve set revenue targets.
Grow the alternative channels partnerships within the distribution department
Principal Accountabilities.
Take proactive lead in the strategic direction of the Channel by forming new innovative strategic partnerships for business growth and satisfy the customers’ needs.
Drive digital sales by Spearheading and implementing the business digital delivery strategy through innovations and business solutions. Drive penetration and utilization of this digital products through cross selling, training, Marketing, and promotions.
Drive and own the definition of business requirements, working with the product leads/managers and development teams (Creative/ Digital Team/ ICT Team/ Customer Experience ) to create user stories ready for development. Provide sufficient detail within the high level requirements to facilitate initial estimation and sizing.
Manage partner campaign initiatives with the digital marketing team to deliver campaign objectives and lead generation.
Scale up Travel insurance product sales through partnership with relevant stakeholders.
Take lead in partner engagement, relationship management and fast track assigned partner engagements.
Execute Direct Business Marketing Strategy with all key alternative channels to meet set targets.
Articulate value proposition for segments and industries for existing and prospective clients.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of alternative distribution channels.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Knowledge And Experience.
Over Five (5) years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on alternative distribution channels.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful alternative distribution channels strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field from a recognized university.
Master’s degree is an added advantage.
