Job Responsibilities
Core Network Service Engineer
Cut-overs: migrating subscribers from the old PSTN to IP based network (IMS)
MSAN (multimedia services access node) subscriber services creation.
Implementing, verifying and troubleshooting multimedia & voice routing.
Compiling Technical Service Description Data Accomplishments.
Installation configuration and support of Huawei network switches and routers.
Remote maintenance & administration of IP Core network.
Routing and routed network design, configuration,and support on BGP and OSPF protocols.
Technical Service Description Data Accomplishments Configuration of routers and networking switches (Cisco and Huawei).
Troubleshooting & maintenance of core network and subscriber database following customer SOP.
Provide technical support and workshops to Customer with regard to Core Network during network design, deployment, first office application, commercial assurance, and continued maintenance.
Perform signalling and traffic routing design to achieve the highest and optimised network availability.
In charge of periodic network audits and inconsistency cleanups to maintain the health of the network as it evolves.
Adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
Leading a team of 5 core network engineers and mentoring them
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering is a must
5+ year work experience in Core Network
7+ years work experience in Telecommunications Industry;
Strong communication skills and presentation skills
Good skills on IP(CCNP) , Stroage, Linux, IT, etc
