Financial Control and Accounting Internship Opportunity
Twiga is a B2B e-commerce company that builds fair and reliable markets for agricultural producers, food manufacturers, and retailers based on transparency and efficiency. Our mission is to provide affordable access to high-quality food and grocery across African cities. Our ambition is to modernize Africa’s urban informal retail by using technology, to aggregate demand and help create an efficient supply chain that makes food and grocery more affordable.
The Finance Interns will partner with accountants in the Financial Control and Accounting department and work closely with them to support in receiving, matching, reconciling, posting, uploading, categorizing, sharing, and filing invoices, credit notes, debit notes supplier statements and any other supplier documentation.
This will be a good opportunity for you to transfer the knowledge and skills that you have been learning in school to the work environment.
The internship period will commence in March 2024. This will be a paid internship and it will be based in our office at Tatu City, Ruiru, Kiambu.
Minimum Requirements
Currently a 3rd year or final year student enrolled in an accredited university or college obtaining a bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
CPA certification will be a significant advantage.
Attained a B in Mathematics and English in KCSE or O Levels.
