Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for a Deputy Head (Academics) iGCSE with a teaching role. The Deputy Head (Academics) iGCSE will be responsible for managing the academic program, monitoring student progress, supporting teachers, and liaising with parents. The Deputy Head (Academics) iGCSE will also lead iGCSE curriculum development and oversee assessment and exam preparation, alongside the exam officer.
Qualifications
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Effective team management abilities
Demonstrable experience in implementing and monitoring an iGCSE curriculum
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and staff
Comfortable with technology and knowledgeable with relevant software/programs
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Teaching certification from a recognized institution
Relevant experience in a similar education setting and proficiency in teaching a core subject is an advantage.
