Principal Product Manager/Strategy

As a Product Manager, you will be spearheading the creation of services and features focused on Central Government. You will work with a diverse set of collaborators including senior executives, architects and development teams to take ideas, turn them into mature products, and put them in the hands of the world’s most demanding customers. 
The successful candidate will have a passion for solving difficult problems in a collaborative, agile work environment, an interest in creativity and innovative thinking, and a strong sense of empathy for both customers and engineering teams. 

You will have

Demonstrated experience as a product manager
Subject matter expert on Government Services, it would be very useful to have experience in Government Agricultural Policy or AgriTech experience, particularly in developing countries.
Proven ability to plan and drive successful releases of entire products that contain significant scope.
Demonstrated experience engaging with customers and data to develop and influence product roadmap.
Possesses executive presentation skills. Can present to executive-level audiences and concisely articulate complex ideas and influence decisions.
Experience identifying and mitigating risks across a set of systems, particularly at the intersection of business and engineering.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and development/engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.
Ability to operate fully independently and act as a leader and collaborator.
Ability to take ownership amid ambiguity and uncertainty to drive results in cross-organisational environments.

Responsibilities

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
