Accountant – Fintech

Duties and Responsibilities

Setting up the company’s financial system, including accounting and taxation.
Accounting: reviewing daily payments, managing accounts receivable and payable, bookkeeping for all accounts, and issuing financial statements.
Taxation: registering the company for applicable taxes according to the tax bureau and tax regulations, filing tax-related declarations in a timely manner every month.
Docking between income tax declaration and audit report issuance and meet relevant requirements.
Monthly calculation of personal income tax and complete the declaration.
Banking affairs, account opening, change, cancellation, bank abnormalities consulting and resolving, to keep smooth communication with bank staff.
Other finance, banking, and tax related work.

Qualifications

Full-time undergraduate degree or above, majoring in accounting, financial management and related majors.
Must understand the Kenya tax law, registered tax and tax declaration of each type of work experience.
Minimum 3 years working experience in financial management of large or medium-sized enterprises. Priority will be given to those with financial experience in foreign companies.
Working experience in newly established company and finance company is preferred.
Self-driven, strong sense of responsibility, good communication, coordination, timely information feedback, team leadership.
