Reports to Head of Training, Flight Operations. 

Detailed Description        
Cabin Quality Control

Develop, manage and controlcabin operations documentation, records and training, in line with thecorporate quality requirements.
Oversee quality controlactivities for cabin operations and training to ensure compliance withregulatory requirements and conformance to company standards.
Manage all aspects of cabinSOP document control and approval system and processes.
Develop, improve, maintain,review and revise cabin SOP documentation in accordance with companydocumentation process and procedures and internal standards.
Amend and update cabinprocedure manuals and relevant training programs as required by changes inregulatory requirements and company SOPs.
Design, analyse and reviewcabin procedures and make recommendations for SOP effectiveness.
Develop checklists,communication templates and guides to augment SOPs.
Keep track of SOPs anddevelop a centralized repository that can be accessed by relevant staff.
Provide guidance andstrategic advisory support to address regulatory/statutory requirement changesor internal policy documents for development of solutions and/or SOPs.
Monitor best practices andchanges in procedures and adjust the SOP documentation to ensure they areimplemented.
Contribute to thedevelopment of informational or technical documents, that may include, but notbe limited to, passenger safety cards, inflight safety videos, relevant websitematerials and training-related materials.
Conduct periodic internalaudits/spot checks/inspections of cabin operations to ensure compliance,accuracy, governance and maintenance of SOPs.
Lead the escalation orcommunication of risks, issues and observed non-compliance as appropriate.
Recommend correctiveactions and provide guidance on process improvements as required.
Maintain constantcommunication with appropriate stakeholders to ensure cabin and trainingactivities meet the expectations and operational needs of the company.

Training Quality Control

Define and oversee cabincrew training strategy implementation for the airline.
Ensure relevant Flight& Cabin crew training is conducted in compliance with regulatoryrequirements and company standards.
Lead the development of thecompany’s safety and emergency procedures training.
Develop, improve, reviewand revise relevant training programs in accordance with company documentationprocess and procedures and internal standards.
Lead the training andcommunication of SOPs to crew members.
Appraise, amend and updatetraining programs and procedures, examination rules and proficiency checks, inline with changes in regulations, company and industry standards.
Continuously measure,evaluate and review crew training to ensure continued compliance andconformance to company standards.
Monitor compliance ofrelevant parts of the OMD with internal and external audit program.
Apply establishedprocedures and guidelines to management of cabin training records andpreparation of standardized reports to ensure regulatory and companyrequirements are met.
Liaise with crew scheduling, KCAA and suppliers regarding relevant trainingmatters

Job Requirements        
Qualification (Minimum)  

 University graduate 

Additional Qualifications  

 Thorough working knowledge of airline cabin operations, KCARs, IOSA and other aviation regulations 
 Experience in training 
 Experience in documentation procedures 
 High degree of technical writing skills 
 Proficient in Microsoft Office 

Years of Experience (Minimum)  

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the airline industry
