Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Credit Sales Manager with a proven track record in growing loan originations for logbook loans and asset finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and scaling a high-performing sales team, implementing efficient processes, and leveraging digital tools to gain a competitive advantage in the market.

Responsibilities

Achieve Loan Origination Targets: Successfully grow the teams loan originations to over 25m KES per month, utilizing effective sales strategies and market insights.
Team Management: Recruit, train, and scale teams of sales representatives and sales agents to drive portfolio growth. Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on motivation and achievement.
CRM Pipeline Management: Implement and manage a CRM pipeline to track leads, conversions, and customer interactions. Ensure the pipeline is effectively utilized for strategic decision-making.
Process Optimization: Develop and implement scalable processes to streamline loan issuance, from application to approval, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Digital Tools Expertise: Leverage digital tools and technology to enhance sales processes and gain a competitive edge in the market. Stay updated on industry trends and identify new tools for continuous improvement.
Motivation and Leadership: Maintain a highly motivated team through effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a credit-related role, with a focus on logbook loans and asset finance.
Proven track record of growing loan originations to over 20m KES per month.
Experience in hiring, training, and scaling sales teams.
Proficiency in CRM systems and digital tools.
