Key Responsibilities
Compile and present financial reports, budgets, and reconcile financial statements
Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Assist with company tax returns
Offer guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization
Monitor spending and budgets
Assist with analyzing of financial performance
Manage income and expenditure accounts
Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis assessments
Maintain and update the QuickBooks accounting software
Perform other duties as assigned
Key Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering or related fields.
At least 3 years of proven work experience in the stated role
CPA(K) certification is required
Knowledge in financial engineering i.e. Financial projections and analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and good time management skills
Enhanced numerical and quantitative skills
Experience with QuickBooks Accounting software
Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong reporting and research skills
Excellent organizational abilities
Strong computer skills in Excel and Word
Knowledge in financial engineering i.e. Financial projections and analysis.
