Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, we are seeking a Sales individual on behalf of our client who can sustain the sales engine with their own skills. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing, with strong negotiating skills — someone boasting a successful track record. The role requires an individual with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, and motivate, employing a solution-driven approach.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the global consumer reach and make sure the organization is on a profitable trend.
Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings
Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships
Sales with Key focus on brand & Business development.
Working closely with the local marketing agencies for the best deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Educational Background: Masters/Bachelors in Business Administration
4 years of relevant experience.
Build the brand and its offerings for the East African market
Create and execute a strategic plan
Identify market gaps, competitive landscape, consumer behavior, needs
Manage potential and long lasting business relationships
Responsible for the company budgets, KPIs, Forecasts and collection.
Liaise across cross-functional teams to deliver company goals.
Responsible to conduct trainings for market development and implement the materials
Monitor and solve customer complaints & returns.
Implement corrective actions to improve customer journey and experience.
Experience in FMCG and other Mass Market/Retail will be an added advantage.
Well versed with Microsoft Apps (Excel, PPT etc.)
Proficiency in CRM
