Sales Associate

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the sales process, understanding customer requirements, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver solutions. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to effectively understand and address our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities
Drive Sales Process

Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients’ IT requirements.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

Quoting and Proposal Generation

Prepare accurate and detailed quotes and proposals for clients.
Work closely with the sales support team to ensure timely and precise delivery of proposals.
Work closely with technical teams to develop project scope-of-works documents and project plans.
Provide solution documents based on collaboration with the technical team.

Product Knowledge

Develop a deep understanding of our IT products and services.
Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, market conditions, and competitive offerings to identify growth opportunities.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to clients.

Sales Administration

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and fulfillment.

Maintain Vendor and Distributor Relationships

Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with vendors and distributors to enhance our product/service offerings.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
Experience: Proven experience in IT sales or a related field is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT products and services; ability to understand and articulate technical concepts.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and build strong relationships with customers and team members.
Results-driven: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Organizational skills: Ability to manage time, multiple tasks, and priorities efficiently.
