Sales Consultant (Events)

Job Description

Generate and qualify leads in our targeted markets to sell and market corporate and professional events.
Manage relationship with clients throughout the event planning process and beyond.
Maintain professional, prompt contact with all customers to ensure a high level of customer delight.
Work with clients to plan and coordinate details of events.
Negotiate and manage the sale of group events of various sizes and complexities.
Accept orders, close sales, maintain customer records and complete required documentation for each individual event sale.
Generate new business and build new client relationships, develop and present proposals to clients.
Maintain existing client base through personal meetings, telephone, and email.
Plans and organizes personal sales strategy strategically plans daily/ weekly/ monthly schedule in order to maximize return on time investment and meet and exceed performance targets.
Prepare weekly tracking report with contact history & event sales revenues.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years work experience in professional training event sales/ marketing.
Strong follow-up skills, the ability to work on multiple projects, and attention to detail.
Computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems.
Must have exceptional customer service and organizational skills and a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business.
