Description
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical liaison for business systems and analytics, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals.

Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of critical business systems, including ERP, CRM, financial, and analytic solutions.
Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement innovative data and business intelligence solutions, focusing on automating pipelines, reports, and interactive dashboards for actionable insights.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and develop tailored solutions meeting business needs.
Develop and execute strategic plans for system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations to optimize business operations.
Lead cross-functional teams in the full lifecycle of project management, from planning and analysis to technical implementation and maintenance.
Conduct regular system audits, assess performance, and recommend improvements to ensure efficiency and scalability.
Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance business systems and analytics.
Collaborate with vendors and partners to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure service level agreements are met.

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Team Management: Extensive experience in leading and managing teams of business analysts.
Project Leadership: Overseeing technical workstreams and guiding multidisciplinary teams for end-to-end project implementations including vendor and consultant work package management.

Technical Competencies 

Systems Integration and Architecture Design: Proficiency in designing and implementing well-integrated technical architectures and specifications based on thorough comprehension of business requirements. Ability to oversee seamless integration across diverse business systems, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Project Management and End-to-End Implementation: Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, specifically within the implementation of various business system projects. Ability to oversee critical technical workstreams, evaluate system inputs, and ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.
Technical Advisory and Guided Execution: Serve as a technical subject matter expert offering guidance and advisory support to diverse project teams comprising business analysts, developers, consultants, vendors, and testers. Ensure timely execution of project milestones while adhering to technical specifications.
Enterprise System Development and Analysis: Extensive hands-on experience (8+ years) in business analysis, project management, and systems development, particularly within enterprise-wide systems encompassing finance, operations, grant, contract, HR, and employee management.
Data and Analytics Solutions: Strong background in working with data and analytics systems, including the design and implementation of solutions providing timely insights to business leaders and functional managers within the operational domain. Proficiency in Microsoft analytics solutions like SQL, PowerBI, and Synapse is highly desirable.

Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in business systems analysis and management, with a focus on complex implementations of enterprise-wide systems supporting finance, operations, grant management, contract management, HR, and employee management systems.
Systems Expertise: Proficiency in multiple business systems such as ERP, CRM, and SCM. Experience in enterprise-level business systems is preferred.
Process Improvement: Strong understanding of business process improvement methodologies.
Project Management: Proven track record in managing large-scale projects.
Data and Analytics: Working knowledge of databases, data systems, and analytics solutions, including proficiency in SQL, Python, PowerBI, and MS Synapse for reporting and dashboard building.
Fluency in oral and written English is required and French or Portuguese is highly preferred. 

Other Qualifications:

Data and Analytics Focus: Strong experience in leveraging data and analytics systems to provide actionable insights to business leaders and functional managers.
Certification: Preference for a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
