Job Summary:
Our client sells alcohol wholesale. The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for selling our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) products directly to customers, ensuring optimal distribution and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
Actively seek new customers and develop strong relationships with existing ones.
Conduct regular visits to retailers and other potential clients to promote products and generate sales.
Set and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
Utilize persuasive selling techniques to influence customer purchasing decisions.
Stay informed about the features and benefits of our FMCG products.
Provide accurate information and educate customers on product specifications.
Receive and process customer orders promptly and accurately.
Ensure adequate product availability and manage inventory levels in the van.
Efficiently plan and organize daily routes to maximize time and reach all assigned sales locations.
Monitor and manage van stock levels to meet demand.
Gather information on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Provide regular feedback to the sales team and management on market conditions.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions and orders.
Submit timely and detailed sales reports to the Sales Manager.
Qualification & Experience
Qualifications and Requirements:
Proven experience in FMCG sales or a similar role.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Familiarity with the assigned sales territory is a plus.
Basic computer skills for order processing and reporting.
