Job Objective
This role is in charge of planning, implementing and executing individual projects and groups of related company projects in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits and control.
The Programme Manager emphasises the coordinating and prioritising of resources across projects, managing links between the projects and the overall costs and risks of the program.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage WIOCC IT & Systems project programme and individual projects
Manage the IT Change Advisory Board, report to the IT Steering Committee
Allocating project resources and managing virtual project team
Logistics co-ordination with vendors, shipping agents, partners and Finance department
Accounting for project cost, time and budget
Mitigating program risks
Technical coach / trainer
Project quality and performance management
Project management of company projects
Assist with creation of ad hoc reports as needed
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent, Masters preferred) in a technical field or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills:
Requires minimum of 7 year’s technical experience in IT & Systems with at least 5 years in project
management role or equivalent
Effective project management ability including written and verbal communications skills evidenced by work history and accomplishments
Excellent communications and soft skills, including ability to listen to and summarize and concisely gather, analyse and share key information with stakeholders
Must use B/OSS tools, i.e. NetSuite, Teamwork, effectively to record information accurately and
concisely in a timely manner
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and experience of technology used in WIOCC IT & Systems including software development, database management, cloud infrastructure, security & risk management, GIS data management, CRM & ERP systems, API and intra system communication, telecommunications domain management
