Youth Business Skills Training Expert

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Tangible and measurable outputs of the work assignment

To develop a 14 hour youth-oriented business development training. Must be a combination of businesses skills and “personal initiative” attitude based curriculum.
To conduct the developed training over the course of 2 days for youth in the East and Horn of Africa region
To provide one-one-one coaching support for the youth entrepreneurs during the incubator
To develop 12 prompts for follow up by the programme team via WhatsApp (2 per month for 6 months). All competitors will be in one WhatsApp group to share experiences/encouragement.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

University and/or higher degree in international business, international relations, social sciences, law, or migration studies.
Experience in developing entrepreneurship curriculum
experience in delivering entrepreneurship curriculum
Experience working with youth entrepreneurs
Excellent knowledge of private sector dynamics
Knowledge of contemporary developments in private sector engagement
Excellent ability in writing mapping reports

LANGUAGES

Excellent command of English, required. Fluency in Kenyan/Ugandan/Ethiopian local languages an advantage
