Tax technology is transforming the manner in which tax consulting and compliance is being conducted today. This asserts the significance of continued investment in our tax technology practice.
As such, PwC Kenya Tax Technology business is looking to recruit a qualified candidate to fill the position of a Tax Technology Associate.
The Associate will join the Tax Technology team and focus on the use of information technology and data analysis tools to provide professional tax technology solutions to help enterprises to manage tax risk and improve the level of tax compliance. 
The role of the Associate will entail software development and implementation, data analysis and business support.

Supporting the design and implementation of web applications both for internal use and PwC clients
Supporting the integration of back-end technologies and implementation of API endpoints
Building reusable code and libraries for future use and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Supporting with documentation of internal and external tools
Supporting the optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability
Supporting the review of ERPs
Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
Working closely with third party developers and test analysts throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
Providing quality assurance to the reviewed applications
Performing data analysis using approved PwC tools and generate insightful reports

Preferred skills

A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
Knowledge of ERP Tools, data analysis and software development
Strong competencies in algorithms and software architecture
A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes
Ability to connect business needs with innovative ideas to generate business solutions
Confident with a strong sense of innovation, creative thinking and decision making
Flexibility and open-mindedness
Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language
A person of high integrity

1-2 years of experience in an IT related environment will be an added advantage
