Key Responsibilties
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives, with a primary focus on revenue growth and market share expansion
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performance sales team, setting clear goals and providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure success
Build and maintain strong relationships with key automotive industry clients, dealerships, and partners to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats. Use this information to adapt sales strategies
Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making
Possess an in-depth understanding of our automotive products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers and tailor sales pitches to specific needs
Oversee the sales budget, ensuring responsible resource allocation and efficient cost control
Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the sales team and make data-driven improvements
Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with company objectives
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Proven track record of success in automotive sales, with at least 10 years of experience in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, market trends, and competitive landscape
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performing sales team
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in using sales and CRM software
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
Willingness to travel as required
