JOB PURPOSE

This role involves supporting the strategic planning and daily operations of the Business Development Function, encompassing both General Business and Medical sectors, specifically for broker and tender-related activities. Additionally, the position is tasked with expanding assigned broker accounts and ensuring the quality and accuracy of tender documentation.

Requires a solid foundation of relevant expertise and hands-on experience in the specified field, typically gained through formal education or professional practice. Demonstrated proficiency in key competencies aligned with the role’s demands is essential. Additionally, familiarity with industry standards, tools, and methodologies is expected to ensure effective performance.

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of professional experience are required. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management software, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, along with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is highly desirable.

A bachelor’s degree in commerce, public relations, or another relevant social studies field is required for this position.

Fellow or ACID/AII qualification, or Chartered Marketer accreditation, is required for this role.

A minimum of four years of managerial experience is required.

Knowledge

Professional individuals with extensive expertise in both General and Medical insurance are required.

Business development, underwriting, claims management, strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methodologies are among the key areas of responsibility.

Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining professionalism and upholding ethical standards in all interactions and decision-making processes.
