Key Purpose Statement
The Process Operator (Simple Syrup room) is responsible for operation of the process area according to work Instructions, execution of destructive and non-destructive quality checks and carrying out autonomous maintenance. The Process Operator (Simple Syrup room) has a primary focus on quality control activities of the team. This role reports to Quality Assurance Technologist.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Sugar weighing and dumping for simple syrup manufacturing.
Execute concentrates requisitions to ensure correct batches and product and with effective traceability documentation.
Ensure adherance to KORE and regulatory requirements in syrup operations.
Participate in continous Improvement Initiatives.
Initiate RCA for deviations or non-conforming process and products.
Be Involved in all supply chain practices applicable to level 1.
Stock management for inventory in the Syrup room.
Skills, Experience & Education
QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma in Food Science and Technology or Biochemistry or Chemistry or Microbiology or any related course.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar or equivalent position in an FMCG
