JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Tribe Lead – Digital Services, the Role holders’ purpose is to;
Build and manage high quality product & platform roadmaps based on business vision and strategy
Define the Vision so that the Product team clearly visualize the expected outcome by the user and manage the product and platform backlog
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
Responsible of the overall leadership for the Product & Platform development, commercialization and rationalization.
Understand the market, the competition, and the users’ pain points and use the information to determine what features should be implemented.
Partnering with local and global brands to identify and influence development of new products and services.
Creating focus and ownership for shaping business’ future ambitions.
Incorporate benchmarking information as well as best practices and lessons learned from to define best-in-class customer experience
Lead, mentor, and support a team of Product Owners and Product Managers
Drive the adoption and implementation of Agile best practices within the product team
Remove obstacles and ensure the team has the resources needed to succeed
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Agree with the business and all stakeholders on the Product & Platform roadmap and deliverables for each quarter and drive innovation
Deliver a stable and in best in class customer experience
Acquisition and usage of the Product by ensuring the channel is relevant, engaging and accessible
Analyze customer insights, usage patterns, competition activities, and market scenario to draw insights into customer usage /behavior to design and optimize the product and platforms
Develop the commercial case and secure commercial approvals for the Product & Platforms
Oversee the Product & Platform commercial plan deliverables by working with Stakeholders and prepare and update all documents.
Present Formal product & platform commercial performance in weekly and monthly reviews (Customers, Transactions, penetration Revenues, tNPS, ARPU etc.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
Work closely with other stakeholders including the brand and segment team to define a clear and precise Go To Market strategy and channel engagement including visibility requirements
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization and innovation.
Implement and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product team performance.
Collaborate with other Chapter Leads and teams to share best practices and lessons learned.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Business or IT from a recognized University
+10 years working experience in Telecom
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an Agile environment.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy and execution.
Familiarity with Agile tools and software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
