We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. You will play a crucial role in attracting new leads, nurturing relationships, and ultimately driving revenue growth. (Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, DRC, Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique)
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research: Conduct in-depth research of the target industry to identify potential prospects and opportunities for business growth.
Outreach Strategy: Develop and execute effective cold outreach strategies, including personalized emails and phone calls, to engage and attract new leads.
Needs Assessment: Initiate contact with prospects to assess their specific needs, challenges, and pain points.
Lead Nurturing: Build strong relationships with leads, gaining a deep understanding of their issues, and providing tailored solutions.
Sales Demos: Conduct product or service demonstrations, addressing questions, handling objections, and overcoming rejections to showcase the value proposition effectively.
Sales Negotiation: Negotiate and close multiple sales deals, striving for high revenue and profitability.
Territory Management: Manage all B2B selling operations and activities within a designated territory or industry, ensuring a strategic approach to client acquisition.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Contract Closure: Initiate, negotiate, and close contracts with prospective clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships to generate additional revenue opportunities.
Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with the team to determine pricing schedules for quotes and negotiations, ensuring competitiveness in the market.
Sales Support: Provide valuable input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature to enhance the sales process.
Relationship Building: Identify, build, and support direct and indirect revenue potential relationships within the industry.
Meeting Participation: Attend regular review meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional negotiation and closing abilities.
Ability to conduct market research and identify opportunities.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and target-driven.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
