External Sales Force Supervisor Sales Representative Regional Sales Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Establish, coordinate, and direct the External Sales Force strategies in order to ensure the achievement of company objectives, this position will be based in Kenya. The successful candidate will ensure there is consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue and management and control of sales resources to achieve maximum sales and profitability.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
 

 To effectively manage the external agency, ensuring that the agreed sales targets, promotional activity, and marketing objectives are implemented.
 To effectively supervise merchandisers, motor sales representatives, vendors, brand ambassadors and influencers while ensuring maximum output.
 Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.
 Report on regional agency sales results.
 Oversee the distributor and stockist management.
 Management of all 3rd Party performance and relationships.
 Analyse regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth per channel and category.
 Create sales goals for key stores and communicate them to store management.
 Prepare sales reports and submit your findings and analysis to senior management.
 Inform senior management of any discrepancies or issues with agency team goals and results.

 Flexible to travel within the country at any given time.
 Developed professional selling relationships with Wholesalers/Franchisers and Retailers
 Good organization, communication, and leadership skills
 Negotiation and Conflict resolution skills
 Ability to identify new business opportunities and customers.
 Strong people management skills
 Energy and passion for achievement of own commitments and delivering company objectives.
 Be able to influence and persuade others to take a specific course of action.

QUALIFICATIONS
 

Academic background and experience
 Bachelor’s degree required (merchandising, sales, marketing or related field)
 10+ years’ experience in the FMCG industry preferred
 Basic accounting skills required
 Excellent attention to detail
 Great motivational and communication skills
 Ability to read, analyze and generate reports, market analyses
