Summary:
The Digital Media Intern will assist the Marketing/Communications team in creating and implementing digital media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage target audiences. This role will involve a combination of content creation, social media management, analytics tracking, and staying up-to-date with emerging digital trends. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced digital marketing environment and contribute to real-world campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

Assist in creating compelling and engaging multimedia content for various digital platforms, including social media, website, blog, email campaigns, and more.
Collaborate with the team to develop graphics, videos, infographics, and other visual elements to support marketing initiatives.

Social Media Management:

Schedule and publish content across relevant social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) using scheduling tools.
Monitor social media channels for engagement, respond to comments, and engage with the audience.

Digital Advertising:

Support in the planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, social media ads, and other paid media channels.
Assist in tracking and analyzing ad performance to optimize campaigns for better ROI.

Analytics and Reporting:

Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) using analytics tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other reporting platforms.
Create regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and provide insights for improvements.

Market Research:

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies to inform digital marketing strategies.

SEO and Website Optimization:

Collaborate with the team to optimize website content for search engines and user experience.
Assist in implementing SEO best practices and analyze website performance metrics.

Email Marketing:

Support in creating and executing email marketing campaigns, including drafting compelling copy, designing templates, and segmenting email lists.

Emerging Technologies and Trends:

Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in using digital media tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, social media scheduling tools, email marketing platforms).
Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, social media marketing, and content marketing.
Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
Creative thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
